The US energy transition is a massive undertaking that is critical to our collective welfare.

We are nimble, focused and leading from the front.

We are not building a big platform or a big team. We target specific asset opportunities in electricity markets that we understand. We measure our success by what we actually deliver.

We think cohesively about our customers' objectives and constraints.

We collaborate with our customers to deliver customized, optimal asset solutions to their complex energy transition problems.

Executive Team

There are a lot of smart, capable people working to achieve our energy needs. We formed Alluvial Power to contribute to that effort in a principled and differentiated way.

Brian Kirk

Brian Kirk started his power career as a mechanical engineering intern at a novel coal gasification pilot project in 2003. He quickly realized that he was better suited to a commercial role rather than a technical one and since has held primary roles in corporate investment banking, project finance, structured finance, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring. He has worked on more than 80 corporate and asset level transactions representing over $10 billion in value and many gigawatts worth of wind, solar, BESS, hydroelectric, biomass, cogen and thermal generation projects in the Americas. Brian previously worked at SunEdison, Atlantic Power, First Wind and Wells Fargo Securities. He holds an AB from Princeton University.

Brian McCurdy

Brian McCurdy has been working in the renewable power industry since 2009, with roles ranging from origination to development to consulting. His experience includes negotiating structured wholesale transactions and power purchase agreements associated with thousands of megawatts of solar and wind facilities that are now financed and operating. Those transactions span a number of US markets, including ERCOT, CAISO, SPP, MISO and the WECC. Brian previously worked at SunEdison and Axio Power. He has a BS from Middlebury College, an MBA from Yale School of Management and an MEM from Yale School of Forestry.

Imraan Mir

Imraan Mir started working in the power industry in 2004. He has worked on gigawatts of solar, BESS, wind, hydroelectric, hybrid, cogen and thermal generation projects in various US jurisdictions and various countries. He has had primary roles in project development, project finance, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and structured finance involving power assets. Since 2012, his professional efforts have been focused primarily on renewable power assets in the US. Imraan previously worked at SunEdison, First Wind and White & Case LLP. He holds a JD from Harvard Law.
